- Enter the mobile number linked to PromptPay, or a 13-digit national ID / tax ID.
- Enter the amount (optional; leave blank to let the payer enter it).
- Click "Create QR", then download the PNG file or let the payer scan it from your screen.
Frequently asked questions
Which banking apps can scan this QR?
The QR follows the PromptPay Thai QR Payment (EMVCo) standard, so it can be scanned by any banking app or e-wallet that supports PromptPay.
Is my phone number sent to a server?
No. The QR is generated entirely in your browser. We do not store phone numbers, ID numbers or amounts.
Why does it say the 13-digit number is invalid?
The last digit of a national ID or tax ID is a check digit. The system calculates and verifies it to catch typing errors. Please double-check the number.
What should I check before a customer scans it?
Test it by scanning with your own banking app, and always check the recipient account name and the amount shown before confirming.
