Having to walk out and switch the water on and off yourself
You have to be at the plot every morning and evening, and cannot water when you are busy or in another district.
Automatic watering by soil moisture, monitor and control from your phone, keeps working when the internet drops.
The product is in development. You can register your interest and apply to join the field test. The name and specifications may change.
Try the 3D demo farmTry watering, change the weather and watch the box work in a simulated plot.Designed around real watering problems on farms and in greenhouses.
You have to be at the plot every morning and evening, and cannot water when you are busy or in another district.
Some plots dry out fast and others stay soggy. Watering them all the same wastes water and leaves plants uneven.
The pump runs too long, wasting electricity, flooding the plot or damaging the pump.
Systems that depend on the internet all the time stop working as soon as the signal drops.
This list is a development goal. Actual features may change based on test results.
Set a moisture threshold and a time window. When the soil stays drier than the threshold for several reads in a row, the box starts watering by itself, with a delay so it does not water again too soon.
Set the times and days to water each zone. It runs on the box itself and does not wait for commands from the internet.
Schedules, thresholds and watering all live in the box. Readings taken while offline are stored and sent to the system when it comes back online.
A maximum run time per watering, a safe (fail-safe) mode when something is abnormal, and an emergency stop button on the box.
Sensor and output ports are clearly labelled and colour-coded. Match the cable colours, no complicated setup.
See soil moisture, the last watering time and the next round, and tap to water now, all on one screen. Colour-coded status is easy to read.
Get notified when the soil is unusually dry, the box goes offline, or a sensor has a problem.
Roles for the farm owner, manager and workers, so each person can see and control only what they are allowed to.
Mount the box near the plot and connect the sensors and valves by colour code.
Scan the QR code on the box, pick your WiFi and wait for the box to come online.
Name each zone, pick the crop and start from the recommended values. You can adjust them later.
The box waters by moisture and schedule. You check the results and get alerts on your phone.
Simulation of how it works — not real data
Try it and see how Farm Box decides: watering by itself when the soil is dry, schedules that run on the box, and the box keeps working when the internet drops. Every number comes from an assumed calculation in your browser, uses simulated time that runs faster than real time, and is not a measurement from a real farm or device.
Watering job status, zone 1 (state machine in the box)
Watering job status, zone 2 (state machine in the box)
By design, the schedule, watering by soil moisture and the pump/valve interlock runon the box itself so the box keeps working when the internet drops, while alerts come from the server. In the simulation the watering threshold is 30%, the target 55%, the maximum run time per round 45 minutes and the rest before the next automatic watering 90 minutes (sample values for demonstration, adjustable in the real system).

Planned — not available yet
This section is a concept planned as a follow-on to Farm Box. It is not available today, and details may change based on test results.
We plan to connect forecast data from the Thai Meteorological Department (rain, temperature, humidity, wind) for the farm's coordinates, combined with readings from the sensors in the plot.
Automatically postpone or skip a watering round when rain is forecast, and adjust the amount of water by the plants' evapotranspiration (ET₀, following FAO guidance).
For example, the pump runs but soil moisture does not rise (a leaking pipe or blocked emitter), or a sensor reading is stuck.
Daily or weekly summaries, answers to questions based on your own farm data, and early warnings before problems occur.

An approximate order of steps, not a confirmed schedule. Timing may change based on test results.
Proof of concept on a development board, covering the box, the server and the app.
Design the first circuit board and test all the main features.
Install on a number of real farms during the rainy season to improve the product from real use.
A limited production run for the first customers, before deciding whether to launch for general sale.
Not all the time. Watering schedules and soil-moisture watering run on the box itself. If the internet drops, the box keeps working, stores the data and sends it to the system when it is back online. You only need internet to view readings or send commands from your phone.
We are finalising the specification for connecting to 220V mains pumps and solar pumps. High-power pumps are switched through a contactor cabinet (pump control unit). Details will be announced once testing is complete.
The price has not been announced and the product is not on sale yet. We recommend registering your interest to get news first.
Designed in 3 models: S for up to 1 rai, M for 1–10 rai, and L for 10 rai or more (1 rai = 1,600 m²). Details may change based on test results.
The goal is easy installation: connect the cables by port colour code and add the box in the app by scanning its QR code. For 220V wiring and high-power pumps we recommend a qualified electrician.
Connections between the box, the server and the app are encrypted. Farm data is visible only to farm members according to their role, and we ask for your consent under the PDPA (Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act) before collecting your contact details.
The plan is to connect to the Thai Meteorological Department's forecast API using the farm's coordinates (still in development, not yet available, and it does not imply any official partnership). If forecast data cannot be fetched, the box simply waters according to the normal schedule stored in the box and keeps working.
Not yet. The product is in development. For now you can only register your interest and apply to join the field test. The product name and specifications may change.
