Thai Chess (Makruk) – Play Online Free

Makruk is the traditional chess of Thailand, played on an 8×8 board with 16 pieces per side: king, Met (queen), Khon (bishops), knights, Ruea (rooks) and pawns. Pawns start on the third rank and promote to a Met when they reach the sixth rank. You win by checkmating the opponent's king, and once no pawns are left the Thai counting rules begin.
